The wedding photo booth idea has definitely caught on, and we think it is such an adorable way for the bride and groom to remember the guests at their wedding– and super fun for the guests! Photo booth rentals can get expensive, so we recommend a DIY photo booth with photos shot by your photographer. There are only a certain number of shots that your photographer needs of the dancing at your reception, so a home-made photo booth is the perfect way to pass the time for your photographer, as well as something fun for you and your guests. There are so many ways you can run with this idea, and they are all so cute and fun! Whether you are inside or outside, hanging a cute fabric sheet is perfect for your backdrop. Or perhaps you have an antique interesting colored or textured couch that that guests can sit on and pose. Then comes the real fun– props! Stash a trunk of antique frames, big sunglasses, fake mustaches, chalkboards, hats, balloons, etc. And don’t miss out on the fun; stage some of your bride and groom/bridal party shots here as well! These photos are guaranteed to leave you and your guests laughing for years. One rule: No serious photos allowed.
